GRAVEYARD WHISPERS

Since 2003, I have taken photos of thousands of graves. This is due to myself attempting to find connections to my own family tree, my own projects, to help fellow family historians or simply because I find a grave interesting. Sometimes it might even be because I see a headstone crumbling and deem it may be lost forever.

In addition to the above, this website also features small and incomplete genealogies that have been created when attempting to create links to my family tree or projects (but failing to do so).

It is hoped that this website will prove invaluable to family historians and serve as a lasting memorial of respect to the deceased featured here.

Please note that only individuals mentioned on headstones feature in the ‘Vips’ section (where ‘very important person’ status is applicable).

If you’re able to supply any additional information for any of the people included on this website, please contact me. Credit is given to all contributors (unless requested not to do so).

It will take a very long time to complete this project as there are still thousands of images to transcribe.
